Join us at the Lorcana European Challenge in Bochum, the Second European Challenge event for the Lorcana Trading Card Game (TCG), launched less than a year ago!
Illumineers from across Europe will gather at the RuhrCongress Bochum on July 6th-7th to compete for the title of “European Challenge Champion” and vie for exclusive prizes.
In addition to the prestige of becoming a “Challenge Champion,” top-performing Illumineers will earn various rewards and exclusive items. Furthermore, successful participants will secure qualifications for future Lorcana invite-only events, with more details to follow.

Main event tickets for Friday & Saturday Main Event Flights will become available Friday 7th of June at 20:00 CEST.
Players can Participate in the Friday Main event OR the Saturday Main event, not both.
Main Event Tickets will grant you access to the hall (and the opportunity to register for Side Events) for the entire weekend.

Tournament Structure
Structure
The Main event will consist of 2 flights that will feed into the Top-Cut on Sunday.
Flight 1 will be played on Friday by 1024 participants.
Flight 2 will be played on Saturday by 1024 participants.
Top 32 of each flight qualify for Sunday.
Early Check-in
Main event participants are encouraged to join us in the venue on Thursday between 16:00 and 19:00 for the Early Check-in. Those that do will receive an event promo card! (TBA)
Main Event Participants who miss the Early Check-in must check in on the day of their Main Event Flight between 8:00 and 8:30. Failing to check in will impact your ability to participate in the Main Event.

Due to exceptionally high demand and to comply with fire safety regulations, entry to the venue is strictly available to Main Event participants and Attendee ticket holders only. Kids under 7 years can enter freely.

Do I need a ticket to access the event?
Due to exceptionally high demand and to comply with fire safety regulations, entry to the venue is strictly by ticket only.
A Main Event ticket or an Attendee ticket will grant you access to the venue for the whole event.
How do I receive the check-in promo?
Main event ticket holders can access the early check-in on Thursday, from 16:00 to 19:00, only in person, and will receive a TBA Event promo during check-in.
Attendee ticket holders will not be able to access the early check-in or receive the event promo.
Which Side Events can I play with a Main Event ticket?
Side Events are open to any player that can access the venue (that includes Main Event ticket holders).
Registration for Side Events requires additional payment, based on which events you’d like to play, that is clearly advertised with the Side Event details.
How do I register for a Side Event?
Side Event Registration will open 30 minutes before the tournament start and close 10 minutes before the tournament start. Registration will only be available online.
The maximum number of players we can accommodate in the tournament will depend on the space available in the hall. We’ll adjust the tournament cap based on these constraints to ensure a comfortable and fair experience for everyone.
I can’t make it to the event, can a friend pickup the participation promo for me?
We’re sorry you won’t be able to make it to the event. The promos are only for players that are actually present and playing at the event. It won’t be possible for someone else to pick it for you.

Will I need a decklist for the Main Event?
You will need a decklist to play in the main event. Please provide it clearly written, in English, on a A4 paper. You will be able to give the decklist to Judges at the beginning of Round 1. Make sure it contains your name!
Will Set 4 be allowed in the Main event?
Yes, it will be! Looking forward to see your brews!
I’m bringing my kid to the event, do they need a ticket?
Kids under 7 years old can enter freely.
Can I purchase more tickets at once?
You can only purchase 1 ticket at a time. If you’d like to purchase a ticket for a friend you’ll need their data, and you’ll need to repeat the purchase process after buying yours.
What data do I need to register?
To register you will need: First Name, Last Name, Email address, Melee.gg account name, Melee.gg account email. We strongly recommend to create a Melee.gg account ahead of the sale, if you don’t have one yet.
What payment methods are allowed?
Allowed payment methods are major international circuit credit and debit cards. If you don’t own one, please ask a friend or family member to borrow theirs. PayPal is not a payment option.
Can I purchase an Attendee ticket if I have a Main Event ticket?
Attendees tickets can’t be purchased if you have a Main Event ticket. These tickets are meant to allow more players to access the venue. With a Main Event ticket you can already access the venue for the whole event. If you purchase both, we will automatically cancel and refund your Attendee ticket, without notice. We will apply a 10% processing fee + any payment method fees.
