Ultimate Guard European Magic Series - Regional Championship - Prague

Join us for the Ultimate Guard European Magic Series Regional Championship in Prague!
Qualified players can compete in the RC. Top players of the RC qualify for the Pro Tour and the World Championship! Players who have not qualified can still enjoy all activities at the venue!
Note: This is a cashless event. Please be prepared to pay without cash at the venue!
Activities
From vendors and artist meet-and-greets, to special guest appearances, panels, and a live stream – there will be various activities for you to check out! More information on all activities following soon!
On Friday January 24th, there will be a limited amount of On Demand and Scheduled Last-Chance-Qualifiers to gain entry into the RC.
Side event participation will result in tix players can spend at the Prize wall.

On-demand Events
Commander for Tix: 10€
Sit down and play for stakes: Your pod participants will get 100 prize tix and 80 tix for the winner of the game.
Commander Party Package: 175€
Friday – Sunday – all event long.
Open a selection of 24 booster packs and construct your deck! Play a Commander game against other Party Decks. You earn tickets for the prize wall in the first 5 games you play!

Get assigned a Commander Precon deck and play a game of Commander. The winner of each pod continues to the next round. Each round all participants will receive 100 prize tix and the winner of the pod will receive an additional 80 tix.

Open 12 boosters, build a Commander deck, and play 2 rounds. Each round all participants will receive 100 prize tix and the winner of the pod will receive an additional 80 tix.
CEDH Last Commander standing: 20€

Last Commander Standing wins a GIANT Card! With 12+ players participating additional Prize Tix will be passed out based on Wins.
Last Chance Qualifiers
Last Chance Qualifiers – Friday, January 24, 10:00
LCQ registration will be available on Friday morning, January 24. By then, you’ll find a detailed guide here on how to register and queue for a flight. If you’ve purchased a package, your account will contain the vouchers that you’ll be able to use to register.
Entry: €25
There will be (a limited number of) on-demand 16-Player Modern LCQ events.
Players with a 4-0 record will qualify for this RC.
In addition, there will be 2 Sealed scheduled LCQ events hosted on Friday (with multiple LCQ slots).
Entry: €50
Players with a 4-0 record will qualify for this RC.
These LCQs represent an opportunity for players who did not qualify for the Main Event to still make it!
All participants receive a foil version of the Sleight of Hand promo card.
1 win – Your first win gets you 40 prize tix for our prize wall.
2 wins – If you get to the Top 4, you’ll receive a non-foil Supreme Verdict promo card.
3 wins – Your third win earns you another 480 prize tix for the prize wall.
4 wins – As the winner, you’ll receive a foil version of the Suprem Verdict promo card.
Players may play in multiple Last Chance Qualifiers but may compete in only one event at a time.
Entry into the event hall will be free of charge!
Ultimate Guard Modern Open – Sunday, January 26
The Ultimate Guard Modern Open will be accessible to all players.
Prize Pool
Entry: €75
Cash Prize: $20,000.
Invites: The Top 16 players will qualify to the next RC organized by Fanfinity.
All participants receive a foil version of the promo card.
All X-1 players will get a non-foil promo card.
Top 8 players receive a Foil promo card.
All players with 2 wins will receive Prize Tix distributed per win in the Swiss stage.

FAQ
The European Magic Series is the name of the upcoming Regional Championship event series in the EMEA region. These Regional Championships are the gateway for competitive Magic: The Gathering players into the Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour and World Championships.
There will be 3 EMS Regional Championships each year.
We will work with other large MTG tournament organizers to organize Destination Qualifiers that will offer several qualification slots.
Yes, you absolutely can!
As a reminder, conceding a match in exchange of something is not allowed and will lead to disqualification.
As RCQs are Premier Events, it is required to follow the guidelines of the Magic Tournament Rules, specifically Appendix D, on both Booster Mix allowed and specific sets allowed (based on the date of the tournament).
The Regional Championship will be free of charge for players who have won an invite. Players can win invites from winning a Regional Championship Qualifier (hosted by a WPN store), from Destination Qualifiers and Last Chance Qualifiers. Winners are only able to use their invites at the Regional Championship corresponding with the qualifying season.There is a limited number available, based upon the capacity of the hall.
You are allowed to trade cards with your friends and other players.
Buying and selling are only allowed with/by the official vendors that are present at the event. If you are found buying and/or selling to someone that is not an official vendor, you will be removed from the tournament hall. If you’d like to apply to be an official vendor, please do so here.

Local rules and regulations apply, but players must be 13 years or older, or have written parental permission to participate in our events.
We expect our Regional Championships to feel similar to the previous Regional Championships you’ve participated in before.
At its heart will be the Regional Championship Main Event, with side events, vendors, and Commander play surrounding it. The size and scope of these extra activities will depend on the event hall and available space, this will vary. We will announce further details when the Regional Championship will be fully announced.
