For the upcoming Pokémon Regional Championships in Lille, we’ve cooked up an exciting lineup of new side events! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a newcomer looking for fun, these formats are sure to bring a new level of excitement to your tournament experience.
What’s New?
We’ve created a full lineup of side events across all Pokémon games. Alongside returning fan favourites, we’re happy to announce the reintroduction of CP (Championship Points) events. On Saturday and Sunday, expect thrilling Challenges & Cups for all communities, bringing intense battles and plenty of chances to test your skills.
A Celebration of Diversity
We believe in the importance of representation and uplifting underrepresented groups within our community. That’s why we’re proud to host the Pokémon Sisterhood League on Sunday. This event celebrates non-male and non-binary Trainers, offering an inclusive, supportive space for them to compete and have fun. These events are exclusively for these Trainers, making this a great opportunity to connect with and empower one another!
Pokémon Sisterhood League: VG Edition
Our Pokémon Sisterhood League isn’t just limited to the TCG! In this special VG edition, we’ll once again celebrate non-male and non-binary Trainers, providing an inclusive and welcoming environment where they can battle it out. It’s more than just competition—it’s about fostering a sense of community, empowerment, and representation.
Pokémon Sisterhood League: Pokémon GO Edition
Continuing our celebration of inclusivity, the Pokémon Sisterhood League returns in a Pokémon GO edition! This event is exclusively for women, non-binary, and underrepresented Trainers, providing a space for connection, celebration, and fun. It’s more than just battles—it’s about coming together and building community.

Introducing “Paradox Zone” – A New Twist on Standard Play
Ready for something truly unexpected? Enter the Paradox Zone, our brand-new format that takes Standard play and flips it on its head. Instead of taking prize cards, you’ll leave them in your deck and roll on the Paradox Fate Track whenever you would normally claim a prize. Each roll could spell either fortune or disaster, making every match unpredictable. Do you have the skill—and luck—to navigate the Paradox Zone?
VG Events – A Lineup Packed with Fun
For our Video Game (VG) community, we’ve got a fantastic range of side events that cater to all types of Trainers! Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or just looking for a new challenge, these formats will have something for everyone.
Current Series Battles – Showcase Your Mastery
If you’re up to date on the latest competitive scene, the Current Series event is the perfect place to show off your skills. Players will go head-to-head using teams from the current competitive Pokémon series. This is your chance to bring your best strategies and test them against other top Trainers!
2-Player Multi Battle – Teamwork Makes the Dream Work
Looking for something to enjoy with a friend? Join forces in our 2-Player Multi Battle! Team up with your closest battle partner to take on opposing teams in a fun, cooperative format. Strategic planning and coordination with your partner are key to dominating the battlefield. Can you outmanoeuvre your opponents and come out on top?
Chaos Cup – Embrace the Unpredictable
The Chaos Cup lives up to its name! In this thrilling event, you’ll be assigned a randomised rental team, throwing you into battle with unfamiliar Pokémon. How well can you adapt to a team you didn’t plan? With luck, quick thinking, and creativity, you might just turn chaos into victory!
Box Draft – Draft Your Path to Victory
If you enjoy thinking on your feet and crafting strategies as you go, you’ll love the Box Draft! Trainers will receive a virtual “booster pack” of Pokémon, each with specific stats. Choose a Pokémon from your pack and pass the rest to your opponents, creating a draft-style experience. The key is to build a balanced team and outwit the others in your pool. Only the smartest drafters will succeed—will it be you?
Pokémon GO Side Events – Strategy and Fun
For our Pokémon GO Trainers, we’ve got a range of exciting side events designed to test your skills and shake up the traditional gameplay. Whether you’re building a team from scratch or battling it out with friends, these formats will keep you on your toes!
Menu Draft – Build Your Team with a Twist
In the Menu Draft, Trainers will draft restrictions from a set menu and must construct their team accordingly. The challenge lies in balancing creativity and strategy within these limitations, and then facing off against other Trainers in your pool. Can you master the draft and create the perfect team under pressure?
Bring Your Own Pro Player – All About Teamwork
Bring along a pro player or your most skilled friend to tackle this fun and strategic event. Teams will face off in a 3v3 format, where you and two friends battle another trio. But there’s a twist—no overlapping Pokémon are allowed on your team! This unique rule will force you to think carefully about team composition. Only the most coordinated and well-rounded teams will come out victorious!
Little Cup – Big Fun with Little Pokémon
Step into the Little Cup, where only unevolved Pokémon with under 500 CP are allowed! This fun format encourages creative strategies and unexpected matchups, making it the perfect playground for both casual players and competitive trainers alike. It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase the hidden power of your team and surprise your opponents with unexpected strategies!
