Welcome to the Disney Lorcana Challenge European Championship at Disneyland Paris Resort, December 6-8! Get ready for a magical weekend filled with exciting competition and memorable activities at the Disneyland Paris Newport Bay Hotel! This event invites Disney Lorcana TCG players, Disney fans, and families to enjoy fun activities as they cheer on the best players in Europe as they compete to earn an invitation to the Disney Lorcana TCG World Championships in 2025.

Spectator Tickets (50€)
For those not playing in the Main Event, there is the option to purchase a Spectator ticket, which will add a bite-sized Disney Lorcana TCG experience to be enjoyed as part of your day at the Disneyland Paris resort. Each Attendee is limited to redeeming a maximum of 1 goodie bag each time slot.
Note: Children under the age of 12 may enter the Spectator event free of charge while accompanied by a ticketed adult (18+).

Spectators will have access to the hall based on the slot they booked.

In addition to the Illumineers who qualified through the past 4 European Challenges, we still have 32 slots for this event which will be assigned during the Friday Last Chance Qualifiers!
Participants in the European Championship and its LCQ events can use all released Disney Lorcana sets, including Azurite Sea.
Decklists for the main event will be hidden during the Swiss portion of the tournament, and public during the Top16 portion of the tournament.

Friday, December 6th
Ilumineers who have not yet qualified for a seat in the European Championship will have another chance to qualify by playing in the Last Chance Qualifier. There will be 32 slots available in the LCQ, on Friday, December 6th.
Tickets
Tickets are €90 and are on sale!
The ticket will include a seat in the Friday LCQ, a goodie bag and a Spectator Badge to a Saturday session (the ticket holder may choose). Please note: There are a total of 1024 seats available for the LCQ.
Timings
There will be two slots, one AM & one PM. Each slot will have 16 flights of 32-player single-elimination tournaments (a total of 512 seats per time slot), that will start at the same time. LCQs on Friday will qualify a total of 32 players to the European Championship.

Format
The LCQ format is core constructed, with single elimination best of 3 matches.
Structure
Players in each time slot (AM or PM) will be assigned to a 32-player pod and play 5 rounds. The winners of each pod will qualify to the weekend’s Main Event, the European Championship. Each slot will qualify 16 people to the Main Event. The LCQ will qualify a total of 32 players to the European Championship.
Round 1 losers (16 players per LCQ) – move into First Side Event.
Round 2 losers (8 players per LCQ) – move into Second Side Event.
Round 3 players (8 players per LCQ) – receive 3 Sat/Sun Turbo Zone Vouchers each.
Round 5 losers (1 player per LCQ) – are invited to Sunday Revival Event.
Round 5 winner (1 winner per LCQ) – is qualified for the Disney Lorcana EU Championship.
Prizes
Each player participating in the LCQ will receive a Dragon Fire promo card. The winner of each pod will qualify for the Main Event and will receive the Spectator portion of the LCQ ticket refunded after the event.
Eligibility
Ilumineers already qualified for the European Championship will not be able to play in the LCQ.
Side Event 1
This event kicks off after the first round of the LCQ.
All participants who did not progress past Round 1 in the LCQ are automatically registered.

Side Event 2
The side event starts after the second round of the LCQ.
Participants who exit the LCQ after round 2 are automatically registered. Players participating in Side Event 1 cannot play in Side Event 2.

On Friday, we are hosting the Last Chance Qualifiers (LCQ)! These are the very Last Chance to earn a qualification into the European Championship Main Event.
We are aware many in the community are extremely excited to compete for these Last Chance Qualifiers. The seats in these tournaments are limited. These tournaments will be Single Elimination and played in BO3 format! The tournaments will be different sizes based on available venue space and participants will be assigned an LCQ tournament slot after they have locked in their ticket.
We expect a large number of participants to be interested in playing the LCQ. All those interested in participating in an LCQ should fill out a form to express their interest. About 1024 of the interested Illumineers will receive an invitation to lock in their LCQ ticket for which they will have a 48-hour window. All tickets that were not picked up, will be reallocated and new invites will be sent out.
All participants of the LCQ will receive 1 Attendee Ticket for a randomly allocated slot on Saturday.
The form to express interest in the LCQ will be available on this page starting Wednesday, October 23, at 8 PM CEST.

Turbo Zone

The Turbo Zone is the Disney Lorcana experience for Spectators. Sit down at a table, redeem your vouchers with a judge to play a BO3 against an opponent, and make your game choice (see below) .
How to enter:

- Three extra Turbo vouchers are given to Round 3 players of each LCQ

Lukas Litzinger
Lukas Litzsinger is an award-winning game designer who has worked for over fifteen years on collectible, board, digital, and app-enhanced games. His love affair with card games started at a young age.
Now as a Senior Game Designer on Disney Lorcana, he has led work on several future sets he can’t talk about (yet). His favorite Disney character is Robin Hood.

Steve Warner, Ravensburger’s co-Game Designer for Disney Lorcana, is a seasoned game design professional with over twenty years of experience. FAQ
Pokémon Regional Championships are Premier events in which you can battle in Pokémon TCG, Video Game, or Pokémon GO Regional Championships. They take place all over the world. No qualifications or residency restrictions are needed to enter these events. Pokémon TCG players need to bring their own legal 60-card deck for the Standard format. Pokémon GO players must have a legal Pokémon team on their Pokémon GO account.
In order to participate, players must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account, stand in good standing with the Play! Pokémon program, and comply with the current Play! Pokémon COVID-19 Protocols for Premier events.

Pokémon TCG players need to bring their own legal 60-card deck for the Standard format. Pokémon Video Game players must bring their own game system, their own Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game, and a legal Pokémon team. Pokémon GO players must have a legal Pokémon team on their Pokémon GO account.
In order to participate, players must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account, be in good standing with the Play! Pokémon program, and comply with the current Play! Pokémon COVID-19 Protocols for Premier events.
In order to take part in the Regional Championship, you first need to register for the event. Most Regional Championships require online registration, and events may sell out. You can find more information on the official page.
The Play! Pokémon program divides players into tournament groups based on the year they were born. These groups are the Junior, Senior, and Masters Divisions. Whenever possible, players are paired with other players in the same age division. Prizes are typically awarded to the best players in each age division.
These are the age divisions for the 2024 season:
Juniors: born in 2012 or later
Seniors: born in 2008 to 2011
Masters: born in 2007 or earlier
Parents should remain on site to keep track of their children and, of course, celebrate their play. Tournaments usually take several hours, so parents might want to bring a book or some other quiet activity to occupy their time. We encourage parents to build a deck and join the fun!

Guardians don’t need to book a separate ticket! When an underage player registers, a single spectator ticket for their guardian will be included for free. You will need to register for additional tickets.
Tournament Entry for a Special Event is Free but is handled on a first-come-first-served basis and tickets are limited
Spectator tickets become available together with the player tickets.
There is a limited number available, based upon the capacity of the hall.
If you want to enter the hall, or play Side Events, you do require a spectator ticket. Spectator tickets can only be obtained online, you can not register on-site.

Series 2 of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will begin on February 1st. Series 2 will last until March 31st, and then the game will transition into Series 3 rulesets.
You are allowed to trade cards with your friends and other players.
Buying and selling, however, is only allowed with the official vendors that are present at the event. If you are caught buying and selling you will be removed from the tournament hall.
