Join us in Bilbao for the Ultimate Guard European Magic Series Regional Championship from 12-14 February 2027!
Get ready for a big weekend of Magic: The Gathering in Bilbao!
The Ultimate Guard European Magic Series Regional Championship features the Main Event for those who compete for spots at the Pro Tour and World Championship – as well as countless Side Events for all Magic players.
Kick off the weekend on Friday with our Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) tournaments, the final opportunity to earn a spot in the Main Event on Saturday!
On Sunday, all players are invited to compete in the Ultimate Guard Open tournament, with a total prize pool of $20,000 in which Top 16 finishers will qualify for the next Regional Championship.
Of course not missing on the Sunday at the UGEMS RC can be the Limited Championship Qualifier! Are you ready to hear thousands of packs being opened at the same time again?Â

Regional Championship Tournament Structure
Only qualified players can participate
- Format:Â Standard
- Deck List:Â Open
- Day 1:Â Â 8 Rounds of Swiss
- Players with 18+ Match Points (6+ Wins) advance to Day Two
- Day 2:Â 6 Rounds of Swiss
- Day 2 Top 8:Â Single Elimination Top 8 Playoff
Decklist Submission: Saturday, 13 February, 08:00 CET (local time)
Please submit your decklist on melee.gg before the deadline.
Registration
- Qualified Players will be Preregistered for this event.
- Once Preregistered, players must complete the Registration process to participate in the event. This is a manual process, and is done weekly in batches.
- If you’re qualified for this event, but you’re not showing as preregistered, please open a ticket at our customer support
- Registration for the Regional Championship closes at 20:00 CET on Thursday, 11th February 2027.
- Players who wish to enter after this deadline will be enrolled with a loss for their first round.
- LCQ winners will be manually enrolled by the organiser after winning their LCQ.
- Players must have their Wizards Account Email in their Melee.gg profile in order to enroll.
Decklists
- Decklists must be submitted through the Player Controller on Melee.gg.
- Decklists are due at 08:00 CET on Saturday, 12th February 2027.
- Failure to submit a decklist on time will result in Tardiness penalties.

Last Chance Qualifier tournaments will be held on Friday. These will give players a final opportunity to win an invitation to the Main Event.
