Join us in Ghent for the Ultimate Guard European Magic Series Regional Championship from October 9-11, 2026!
Get ready for a fun-filled weekend of Magic: The Gathering in Ghent!
While the Ultimate Guard European Magic Series Regional Championship main event is reserved for qualified players competing for spots at the Pro Tour and World Championship, the venue is open to all MTG players.
Kick off the weekend on Friday with our Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) tournaments, offering the final opportunity to earn a spot in the main event. Throughout the weekend, enjoy a full slate of engaging side events and activities. Then, on Sunday, all players are invited to compete in the Limited Championship Qualifier and the thrilling Ultimate Guard Open tournament.

The Regional Championship Main Event is only open to qualified players.
Format: Modern Constructed
The path to qualification starts with Regional Championship Qualifiers (RCQs) events run by local stores. There are several Destination Qualifiers available, larger events organised by trusted partners, in venues that are not necessarily WPN stores. A list of confirmed Destination Qualifiers can be found here.

Last Chance Qualifiers
Last Chance Qualifier tournaments will be held on Friday. These will give players a final opportunity to win an invitation to the main event.

Ultimate Guard Open Tournament
The Ultimate Guard Open tournament will be held on Sunday and will be open to everyone. This event includes a total prize pool of $20,000 and the Top 16 finishers will qualify to the next Regional Championship.
